Silvia Jami is a biologist with a specialty in Ecuadorian flora. Silvia is project technician for the biotic component with 9 years of experience in the development of Environmental Impact Studies, Environmental Management Plans, environmental audits, biotic monitoring, environmental validation and consulting for companies in the hydrocarbon, mining, and energy sectors.  As a project technician, Silvia coordinates biotic teams, nursery management, flora rescue activities and revegetation of intervened areas. In addition, she has worked on research projects such as: "Use of the Plants in Four Indigenous Lowland Amazonian Cultures in the Northeast of Ecuador: Kichwa, Waorani, Siona, Secoya and Shuar" for the Ecuadendron Botanical Corporation; "Tropical Canopy Spectrometry: for CONDESAN; and "Methodology for the identification contamination in vegetation from hydrocarbons through the generation of spectral spatial technologies and spectroscopy of images" for the Ecuadorian Space Institute with the financing of the SENESCYT.
